We do things a little bit differently here in the city…

My friend Kristin had the wonderful idea of gathering at her apartment in Brooklyn to build gingerbread brownstones, apartment buildings, etc. in the spirit of the holiday season. While we may live hours from our families, it is ever so important to get together with close friends for fun activities to eradicate the winter blues.

Upcoming events include ice skating, a visit to the Russian bath houses, and caroling. Honestly, I can’t imagine all New Yorkers enjoying carolers at their doorstep, but I’m sure it will put a smile on several faces including our own!
