It’s another mild Turkey Day in the Big Apple! Thinking about heading to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade are we? Well, it wouldn’t be a bad idea! In 2007 the hubs and I were watching the parade on TV. We figured we’re young, we’re in the city, and it’s a perfect day to be outside, so why not? We got up off the couch and headed to our favorite part of the city…Times Square! Wild, I know! We didn’t have our hopes set high as we imagined the massive crowd filled with crying children. We were also expecting to be disappointed with our vantage point. However, this was not the case! Sure, there were a ton of people, but we were easily able to make our way towards the barricade without being those pushy New Yorker types. There really isn’t a bad view in the house. As long as you can look up, you can see the balloons! It was our first Turkey Day as a married couple and a memorable one at that.
We wish all of you and your families a Happy and safe Thanksgiving!
